Which information do I need for my tax declaration?

A good preparation will facilitate the completion of your tax return. It is recommended to collect the following documents prior to the declaration or even during the current year:

  • Salary statement(s)
  • Bank statements
  • Tax statement for bank investments
  • Tax statements for pensions and contributions into 1st pillar (for not gainful employed persons)
  • Receipts of contributions into pillar 3a (voluntary pension).
  • Receipts of extra-ordinary contributions into 2nd pillar (pension fund)
  • Tax statement from health insurance
  • List of professional expenses and for education and training
  • Donation receipts
  • For homeowners: all documents relating to property tax, interest on debts and mortgages, bills for maintenance and renovation, operating and administrative costs, etc.
  • Alimony received or paid and receipts for child care
  • Information on vehicles (brand, date of purchase and purchase price)
  • Information on collections and market value of assets
